Kasha Anne is a Vocalist, Songwriter, and Pianist from Edmonton, AB. She has studied voice with mentors over the years as well as completed vocal courses online through Berklee. Throughout her 10 years as the lead singer of a local band known as "The Orchard", Kasha played a key role in writing lyrics and melodies for three studio albums while performing and travelling at festivals and events across Canada.
Kasha has completed her Elementary and Intermediate Pedagogy with RCM (she discovered a passion while working with her friend and partner Christina Kolos). She has studied with numerous teachers and friends through the years but also continues to study with the very first teacher she ever had (Gwen Barr). She believes in continued learning and is passionate about her music and relationships. Kasha is currently an affiliate member of ARMTA working toward her Advanced Pedagogy. Determined to make music fun while also creating communities and new opportunities, Kasha continues to be inspired by the music community. When she is not with her kids or teaching, Kasha spends her time writing her own music in the hopes of releasing a solo project in the future! Stay tuned!
